18th Annual Newport Beach Film Festival Announces Call for Entries

NBFF welcomes another year of captivating cinema from all over the world across all genres.

The Newport Beach Film Festival announced that its 2017 event will be held from April 20th to April 27th, 2017 in Newport Beach, California. For this upcoming Festival, NBFF is accepting film entries across all of the programming areas of the Festival using the NBFF website, FilmFreeway and Withoutabox. The entry period will run from August 1, 2016 to the final deadline, February 17, 2017.

NBFF accepts short and feature-length films from all over the world. Programs such as Documentaries, Action Sports, Music, Art + Architecture and Design, Family and Environmental films have been staples at the festival for years as the interest in different genres has grown. NBFF is proud to continue their encouragement of young filmmakers with the Youth and Collegiate Film Programs.

Deadlines to submit U.S. and International films for the 2017 Newport Beach Film Festival are as follows:

  • September 30, 2016: EARLY BIRD DEADLINE
  • October 28, 2016:AUTUMN DEADLINE
  • November 18, 2016: THANKSGIVING DEADLINE
  • December 16, 2016: REGULAR DEADLINE B
  • January 27, 2017: LATE DEADLINE
  • February 3, 2017: EXTENDED DEADLINE
  • February 17, 2017: IRISH/UK EXTENDED DEADLINE
