A post-apocalyptic twist on a William Shakespeare classic, Julius Caesar returns home to a celebrating crowd after defeating an enemy army in a successful war campaign. Marcus Brutus, a trusted friend and Rome’s most honored citizen, conspires to assassinate Caesar, in order to forestall tyranny and preserve democracy. Should they fail, tyranny will reign over Rome for countless decades to come. Should they succeed, their beloved country will once again become the center of government, even if it means the group will be exiled for their crimes.
