Man on Fire
Grand Saline, Texas, has a history of racism the community doesn’t like to talk about. In 2014, Charles Moore, an elderly white preacher ended it’s secrecy when he lit himself on fire in a shopping center in protest, shining a light on the town’s dark past. This documentary explores the history of Grand Saline, as two generations discuss the town’s history with racism as well as the motives behind Charles Moore’s shocking self-immolation.
