Goodbye, February and hello March! It is that time of the month again, as the Newport Beach Film Festival presents March’s Theater Watch List. Bringing to you a broad range of action, drama, comedy, and adventure March presents a great spectrum of film accomplishments. Now without further ado, hold on to your seats and get ready for the Newport Beach Film Festival’s Theater Watch: What to See in March.

 

Whiskey Tango Foxtrot

Written by Robert Carlock; Directed by Glenn Ficarra and John Requa

After arriving in the Middle East region in 2002, a journalist, played by Tina Fey, works to recount her wartime coverage in Afghanistan and Pakistan.

The Wave

Written by John Kåre Raake and Harald Rosenløw-Eeg; Directed by Roar Uthaug

As the experienced geologist Kristian Eikfjord prepares to leave the city of Geiranger for a new job offer, he and his colleagues measure small geological changes underground, which will later cause an 85-meter-high devastating tsunami.
