Volunteering for the Newport Beach Film Festival is a fantastic opportunity to see the inner workings of a world-renowned film festival. For 17 years, the NBFF has been growing and evolving to encompass innovative elements of the film industry, and bringing them to Newport Beach’s very own backyard. In those years of adaptation, volunteers have been the backbone of executing the festival year after year.
Over 500 volunteers partake in all aspects of the festival, and are the main face of the weeklong cinematic showcase. Volunteers are inside our theaters, operating our systems, helping to produce all of our events, and keeping the entire festival running smoothly.
We are extremely grateful for every volunteer who graciously donates their time, and we sincerely could not do everything we set out to do without them. To those who are returning to volunteer with us again, welcome back! If you’d like to become part of this kick-ass group, register an account on Shiftboard.com/newportbeachfilmfest.
Volunteers are eligible to participate in numerous realms of festival operations, including:
Party and Production*
