As one of the premier high school filmmaking programs in the nation, the Film & Television Conservatory at the Orange County School of the Arts offers students a four-year course of study in all aspects of studio and location filmmaking and television production. We value visual invention and curiosity, collaboration and individual expression, solid technical crafts- manship, and stories that thoughtfully explore the human condition. Our students consistently screen work at local and na- tional film festivals and alumni have gone on to attend film schools at universities such as Chapman, NYU, USC and CalArts. This Program Highlights some of the best work of these outstanding students from 2017 and includes documentaries, commercials, narratives, and PSAs (public service announcements). From the lighthearted drama “Days of the Weak” to the touching documentary “The Story of Life” we hope you’ll enjoy the visions, dreams and journeys of tomorrow’s cinematic artists.
