Vietnam veteran and National Book Award-Winner, Tim O’Brien, has been called one of the greatest voices in modern American literature. Although he wrote groundbreaking novels about the Vietnam War that have sold more than six million copies, O’Brien hasn’t put pen to paper in nearly two decades. However, he believes that the country is overdue for a conversation about war’s impact and is back in the writer’s chair as he journeys through writing his last book.
